Segregated Payments Ltd (SegPay) was launched in June of 2005 as a Visa Internet Payment Service Provider (IPSP) and MasterCard Merchant focused on the European market. Based on the solid reputation it established in Europe, SegPay earned the right to process for US merchants as a US IPSP and Independent Sales Organization in December of 2007.

SegPay, short for “Segregated Payments” represents a whole new method to allow webmasters to view their payment security over the Internet. Segregation of Funds” is standard protocol in the financial services industry, and in fact, any failure to follow the discipline is highly illegal. SegPay brings this unique feature to the IPSP market. With SegPay, webmasters funds are held at the bank until the time of payout or deposit. We utilize a trusted third party, INTECA (Inteca.org), to facilitate the release of funds from the bank. Funds are then fully documented and made traceable. SegPay does not receive payment or commission until you get paid!

Our state of the art processing engine is designed on industry standard technology and operates on Windows 2003 Server Enterprise and SQL Server 2005 Enterprise. All application software and servers utilize the latest Microsoft.Net technologies. All web components are written in ASP.net 2.0 and all systems components are written in VB.Net 2.0. Our hardware is fully redundant with load balanced servers that are scalable both “upwards and outwards” by utilizing Microsoft Message Queuing and proprietary service components. The servers reside in a 24/7/365 managed hosting facility.
